Bryant Corner Café dishes up large portions from its many-paged menu and delivers neighborhood residents and visitors the comfort they crave, and at a fair price, too.

The café’s cozy, casual ambiance and large open dining room accommodate every possible combination from solo diner to the sprawling party of ten I saw celebrating a birthday last night at a long table hastily prepared by the young front-of-house staff.

At the intersection of the Bryant and Wedgewood neighborhoods, the café claims several attributes earning it loyal habitués from both ends of the ridge: generous portions, fair prices, a bar that opens at 7 a.m., and breakfast served all the way to ten p.m., closing time at this beloved neighborhood local. Add good coffee, baked goods, family-friendly dining, and a cheerful tolerance of old friends lingering late over drinks and dinner, and everything on this corner is A-okay, like always.
